Wordless Wednesday is supposed to be about posting a photo(s) without any words. But, I'm a rule breaker, so here are a few words:
1 - I love getting packages in the mail, especially when they're a complete surprise. Like the one I received last week from a friend with a book on UFOs inside.
2 - Notice how there are two exclamation points after our boat name on the envelope? Punctuation can be fun.
3 - UFOs come in all shapes and sizes, just like people. I imagine aliens come in all shapes and sizes too. I wonder if UFOs have really cramped seats like we have on our planes. Do all of the aliens jostle each other trying to be the first to board so there's still room left in the overhead bins for their carry-on luggage?
What words does this picture(s) bring to your mind when you look at it?

Exclamation points are the best!
ReplyDeleteIf they have to travel across the galaxy all cramped inside then they really aren't any smarter than us.
Maybe that's why they don't visit us. We haven't proven our worth because of our airline seats. :-)
DeleteWhat a fun book! I do wonder if there will be more hints at UFOs in your next book. :)
ReplyDeleteThere's a little bit more about Mollie's involvement in UFO investigations, but it's a little more subtle this time around. At least I think it is. :-)
DeleteIt brings a chill is what it does. It's the unknown. Creepy.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥
The unknown can be creepy and scary.
DeleteThe seats better be huge, cuz cramped up in a spaceship for light-years would make me a wack-a-doodle.
ReplyDeleteAnna from elements of emaginette
Maybe they knock you out so you sleep thru the journey. That might make it bearable.
DeleteI wonder if maybe there are different UFO manufacturers that compete, selling different features like backseat screens or turbo boost.
ReplyDeleteI bet there are :-)
DeleteI love exclamations !!!!
ReplyDeleteThey are fun!!!!!
DeleteSurprise packages are fun, especially if they have good books in them.
ReplyDeleteIn my mind, i agree with Calvin and Hobbes -- if there is alien life, it has proven its intelligence by staying away from us!
Calvin & Hobbes are very wise :-)
DeleteLOL!! This post made me laugh thinking about the Aliens jostling in line, ready to board!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
- Lisa
Hopefully, they have a more enlightened boarding system on other planets :-)
DeleteWell, it IS getting close to Halloween, so it's only fitting for her to add an exclamation point after the BOO. :)
ReplyDeleteAh, good point!
DeleteTickety Boo just cries out for an exclamation mark - well at lease it does when I say it inside my head.
ReplyDeleteI find it interesting that Media Mail is subject to inspection - I had no idea. So sorry - you may be on some sort of list now of people who receive books about UFOs in the mail.
How did you add "loves to send surprise mail" at the end of your name? Very cool that you can customize like that. :-)
DeleteI wonder if media mail is subject to inspection to prevent abuse by people trying to pass stuff off as media mail to save money? It's amazing how much cheaper it is.
I suspect there are worse things being sent thru the post than books about UFOs.
I love that series of books! Chris got me the whole set for my birthday one year. Best gift ever.
