Horses! | Wordless Wednesday

Wordless Wednesday is supposed to be about posting a photo(s) without any words. But, I'm a rule breaker, so here are a few words:

1 - I like horses, but only from afar. I'm deathly allergic.

2 - We saw these ones on the banks of the St. Lucie Canal on our way back to Indiantown Marina.

3 - They were drinking the water. Gross. I'd be scared to get that water on my skin. Drinking it - no way.

What words does this picture(s) bring to your mind when you look at it?

  1. Obviously their systems can handle it.
I'm sorry you are allergic to horses.

  2. I hate it that you are allergic to horses! I like horses too, but they scare me - they are so big and I feel like they are temperamental like birds (I am not good with birds at all), I am always afraid of making the wrong move around them.

  3. I need a saddle and a bridal and then I can go for a ride.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥

  4. They are beautiful. I have a livery yard and am also allergic to horses, but thankfully not seriously so. My biggest problem is with the dander when I groom them.

  5. Grandma is allergic to horse serum and so cannot ever have any kind of antivenom. She says if someone ever tries to slip her horse meat she's a goner.

Horses are lovely and i do enjoy riding, i'm sorry you are so allergic. Even Grandma used to ride them, she wasn't allergic to them from the outside, just inside, i guess.

  7. They're gorgeous! I'm sorry you're allergic to them, but I don't reckon you run into many horses in everyday life, eh? It's been years since I rode, but seeing them reminds me of an old fantasy... to ride bareback, my strong lithe muscles moving in sync with the horse's and my long long hair flowing in the wind like a mane... HA! Sure, I can do that, except for the long long hair... and the sleek young body. I'd be like an old fat Lady Godiva... except I'd be wearing clothes.
