Wordless Wednesay | New Marina Cats

Wordless Wednesday is supposed to be about posting a photo(s) without any words. But, I'm a rule breaker, so here are a few words:

1 - We have three new adorable cats at the marina. Actually, I can only confirm that two of them are adorable. I've never seen the third one, although it's a cat, so of course it's adorable. Goes without saying.

2 - The three of them used to be outdoor semi-feral cats that a lady would feed. Unfortunately, she passed away and they were relocated here. Which is a good thing as the rat population needs to be checked.

3 - One of them is super-friendly and goes to the office every morning to demand food and petting. The other one is a bit more skittish, but still loves to get cuddles. I hope the third one is okay.

What words does this picture(s) bring to your mind when you look at it?

  2. They both look wary as if they have had to learn to guard their food.

    1. I took these photos when they were pretty new to the marina. Since then, they've been a lot more relaxed while eating.

  3. Of course cats are all adorable! (I have to say that with my own kitty staring at the screen right now!)

    1. Aww...I bet your cat wants you to pay attention to him instead of the computer.

  4. All cats are adorable. These shots remind me that everything needs a forever home and lots of love. Okay treats too.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥

  7. I hope someone continues to feed them. Have they been fixed?

    1. They have been fixed, which is good. When there were feral cats here previously, they hadn't been and there were a lot of kittens running around.

  11. I have a friend who helps foster for a cat rescue, and she is always posting such adorable kitties up for adoption on Facebook. Makes me want to get them all! PS, this Friday, Gus has a starring role.

  12. How nice for the marine to take them in! Hopefully, 3 shows its face sometime. But they can be super shy. I have a barn cat, which refuses to let me see it sometimes for a month or more.

    1. Hopefully shyness is why we don't see #3. I just hope he's able to get enough food hunting.

  13. I think they are saying - "I have put a lot of energy into being absolutely adorable to earn this food, I'm not sharing with you and your weird black box."

  14. I'm glad someone is looking after those cuties. Looks like our yard, AKA the Stray Cat Restaurant. I suppose if we stopped putting food out for them, they'd stop hanging around, but as long as they keep coming around and meowing at us...
