Wordless Wednesday | Scrabble

Wordless Wednesday is supposed to be about posting a photo(s) without any words. But, I'm a rule breaker, so here are a few words:
1 - For someone who spends a lot of time writing down words and rearranging them into sentences, paragraphs, and chapters, you'd think I'd be better at Scrabble.

2 - If I had a favorite letter, I think it'd be "i" - but only the lower case version, not the upper case version.

3 - I used to only like writing in lower case letters when I was younger. I wonder if I'd be better at Scrabble if they used lower case letters instead.

What words does this picture(s) bring to your mind when you look at it?

  1. It reminds me that my grandmother was one mean Scrabble player.

    1. My mom and sister are pretty mean Scrabble players too :)

  2. Yes on all three. I love playing Scrabble. It massages the mind.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday, Ellen. ♥

  3. I love Scrabble. I have it on my iPad and play for a few rounds every morning. It gets my brain going.

  4. It reminds me that i'm not good at Scrabble, either.

  5. These letters remind me so much of playing scrabble with my parents and their friends....words are so fun!

  6. Oh my gosh!!! I am also a horrible scrabble player. I feel so much better about myself now. Thank you! So much pressure, right? People are like- well, you're a writer...

So, maybe I write books in small, low value words- it can happen!

  7. I like to play Scrabble but I'm not as good at it as people expect me to be. It's not like Scrabble is about stories, people. Give me a break! :)

  8. I like this. And reading Simon's snarky comments on your latest post made me grin. I tend not to read much from others of late, yourself a rare exception. ~grin~ Autumn is my favorite season, though I don't even mind winter now that heat bothers me so. Meanwhile, I'm an Ohioan who cannot eat buckeye candies - too sweet! Give me Esther Price chocolate covered potato chips, instead. Yum!

We LOVE when people leave comments. It's so much more fun hearing what you have to say. If you have a blog, make sure you leave a link and I'll be sure to pop on by.
