Random Thoughts In GIFs

I'm what you might call a slow adopter when it comes to technology. My cell phone is over five years old and I still can't figure out how to text more than one person at a time. I get excited about discovering new things I can do with my computer long after everyone else has - like adding GIFs to my blog. How cool is that!

Yeah, I see you out there shaking your head thinking, "Duh, Ellen. That's really old news. Kids master that skill be the age of three."

So, guess what? I'm going to subject you to a entire blog post full of GIFs that represent the random thoughts running through my brain.

I'm in the midst of rewriting my latest book. When Scott comes in to check on me and I'm stuck on a plot point, I do this. . .

Does it count if you're cat is imaginary?

I did wash this morning. Very disappointed to find only lint in the dryer and not an adorable cat.

I did a search for GIFs related to hating math. This is what came up at the top of the results. Oh, internet, you know me so well.

Enough goofing off. I better get back to the writing.

What are your biggest technological challenges? Do you like GIFs?

  1. I love your GIFS. I love GIFS. These are great. I think we all do these things from time to time. I love the wine one and the kitty in the dryer.

Have a fabulous day, Ellen. ♥

  4. I don't know how to do gifs. Someday I'll figure it out, when I really need to.

I wonder if I could get Star to tumble in the dryer like that?

  5. GIFs are fun, and i have no clue how to add one to my blog. If i needed to, i guess i could ask a 3-year-old for instructions. My own lack of technical expertise does not bother me in the least.

  6. Your GIFs are adorable, and I enjoy seeing them on other people's blogs, but as for me? Heck, I'm thrilled I mastered the art of cut-and-paste. HA!

  7. Hello Ellen.
Yes I like your GIFs but have no idea how to add one to my blog. As far as patiently wading my way through many years of stress trying to work out how to get this infernal machine to do what I want it to do I'm very much like Messymimi. Glad to have finally worked out how to cut and paste. :)

  10. I've never gotten into GIFs either, like Darla above. I think the constant motion annoys the hell out of me. (But your post was very cute!)
