As the owner of these cats (Ellen's sister), I can confirm that they are comfortable. The tortoiseshell perches on my hips and bops me gently in the face when it's time for breakfast. She will re-perch & re-bop as I turn over, as many times as it takes. The black cat just goes along with whatever.
