Wordless Wednesday | Murder Is Everywhere!
Wordless Wednesday is supposed to be about posting a photo(s) without any words. But, I'm a rule breaker, so here are a few words:
1 - When we were on holiday at Anna Maria Island, we went out for a walk to the beach one morning. Along the way, we saw a large knife.
2 - Then we stumbled across this scene. Clearly it was the scene of a murder. A fight over a skateboard, perhaps? The murderer must have run away and dropped the knife.
3 - I'm not sure what they did with the body. Maybe it washed out to sea.
4 - It's possible I have an overactive imagination.
What words does this picture(s) bring to your mind when you look at it?

I'd say somebody with a hangover is going to be mad he lost his football and skateboard. Unless the wine resulted in something good then he might not care...
ReplyDeleteToo funny - hopefully, something good did happen and the skateboard and football were a small price to pay.
DeleteHope nobody gets badly hurt. Hope you visit mine too. Tnx

I hope no one got hurt either :-)
DeleteI'm pretty sure you've got an overactive imagination. I like that about you.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ☺
Thanks Sandee - it's nice to know that there are folks out there that appreciate an overacgtive imagination.
DeleteKind of like the beginning of JAWS, when the girl drops her clothes in the sand then...um...disappears. :o
ReplyDeleteI hadn't thought about that before, but it is reminiscent of Jaws.
DeleteI can imagine this as the start of a thriller movie. :P
ReplyDeleteI can too :-)
DeleteI have to say it does seem weird that the stuff would just be left there. :-/
ReplyDeleteIt sure was weird :-)
DeleteSkateboarding on the beach - now that I would like to see.
ReplyDeleteI don't think you'd get very far
DeleteIt's certainly suspicious. Get your friend Nancy Drew on the case.
ReplyDeleteWhere is Nancy when you need her?
DeleteJaws 5 - he's back!
ReplyDeleteI can't get the Jaws song out of my head now :-(
DeleteDefinite mystery on this one. I wonder if time travel is involved.
ReplyDeleteGreat twist - I like it!
DeleteThe aftermath of the wrap party for the movie "Beach Blanket Bingo" -- that Annette Funicello was a wild one back in the day (don't the let mouse ears fool you)!
ReplyDeleteStephanie @ SV CAMBRIA
I can totally picture Annette trying to ride the skateboard while drinking wine straight from the bottle
DeleteBeaches can be scary places. Who knows what goes on at night? Did you call the police? :-)
ReplyDeleteI wonder what they would have said if I called them. Rolled their eyes, I bet :-)
DeleteOr possibly they just got tired after drinking and talking all night and walked (or crawled) back to their beach rental and passed out....lol.
ReplyDeleteSadly...this is a familiar site to me...from somewhere in my memory fogbanks :o
- Lisa
That's probably exactly what happened, but that's such a boring story :-) Of course, they probably had a great time before they passed out.
DeleteYou should totally be a mystery writer! (I always imagine the worst too. Like if I see a car on the shoulder of a desert road, no driver in sight, I imagine the all kinds of scary scenarios.) Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteAbandoned cars on desert roads - that's definitely a case of alien abduction
