Dinghy Sailing | Wordless Wednesday

Wordless Wednesday is supposed to be about posting a photo(s) without any words. But, I'm a rule breaker, so here are a few words:

1 - When we were in the Bahamas, Scott took our Walker Bay dinghy out sailing.

2 - It's a miniature sailboat! I love tiny things. I was one of those girls who had a dollhouse and could stare at the tiny furniture and accessories for hours.

3 - Scott won all of the regattas he entered. Of course, he was the only participant, but why make a little think like lack of competition take away your glory when you get first place.

What words does this picture(s) bring to your mind when you look at it?

  1. This makes me want to buy a miniature sailboat like yours. I think I could handle it alone, unlike the other sailboats I've been out in.

    1. That's my thinking too that I'll be able to handle it by myself. I'm not the greatest sailor so it would be good to practice on the Walker Bay.

  2. This reminds me of work. Sailing is work. Good work, but work nonetheless.

Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday, Ellen. ♥

  3. Fever! Have you renamed him yet? So glad Scott is enjoying him!

Seeing stuff I used to own on the internet is more exciting than seeing stuff I used to own in people's homes when I house sit! Thanks! I miss Fev.

    1. No, he is still called Fever :) Or is it she?

Scott loves sailing Fever! He even took Ted out on the canal in it and he loved it to. Ted and Sandy are talking about buying one too.

  5. Oh, I like tiny things, too, as did my mother before me. Way to go, Scott. ~grin~ Lovely horses! And thank you for the photos from your trip. I've heard elsewhere that the people are lovely. As for conch, I enjoyed fritters on our Honeymoon on Key West. We didn't think about the weather, though, and going in the middle of June meant I actually lost weight. Humidity and extreme heat make me nauseous. Heh... Oh, well, we have wonderful memories. Be well!

  7. That dinghy is adorable. And I love miniature things, too. The doll furniture they make nowadays is a far cry from the plastic stuff I had as a kid.
