Wordless Wednesday is supposed to be about posting a photo(s) without any words. But, I'm a rule breaker, so here are a few words:
1 - We have three new adorable cats at the marina. Actually, I can only confirm that two of them are adorable. I've never seen the third one, although it's a cat, so of course it's adorable. Goes without saying.
2 - The three of them used to be outdoor semi-feral cats that a lady would feed. Unfortunately, she passed away and they were relocated here. Which is a good thing as the rat population needs to be checked.
3 - One of them is super-friendly and goes to the office every morning to demand food and petting. The other one is a bit more skittish, but still loves to get cuddles. I hope the third one is okay.

ReplyDeleteI took these photos when they were pretty new to the marina. Since then, they've been a lot more relaxed while eating.

ReplyDeleteThey have been fixed, which is good. When there were feral cats here previously, they hadn't been and there were a lot of kittens running around.

DeleteI have a friend who helps foster for a cat rescue, and she is always posting such adorable kitties up for adoption on Facebook. Makes me want to get them all! PS, this Friday, Gus has a starring role.

DeleteHow nice for the marine to take them in! Hopefully, 3 shows its face sometime. But they can be super shy. I have a barn cat, which refuses to let me see it sometimes for a month or more.

DeleteI'm glad someone is looking after those cuties. Looks like our yard, AKA the Stray Cat Restaurant. I suppose if we stopped putting food out for them, they'd stop hanging around, but as long as they keep coming around and meowing at us...
