Wordless Wednesday | Spray Bottle & Dinghy Repair
Wordless Wednesday is supposed to be about posting a photo(s) without any words. But, I'm a rule breaker, so here are a few words:
1 - We used a spray bottle of water and dish soap to track down the leak on our dinghy. If you see bubbles then you've identified the culprit.
2 - We have another spray bottle with just water in it which I use to "rinse" the dishes after I wash them. It's important to conserve water when you live on a boat at anchor.
3 - I had to relabel this bottle so we didn't confuse it with the "rinse" bottle. It is now our official "random bottle for miscellaneous uses."
4 - I wonder what other miscellaneous things we can use it for?
What words does this picture(s) bring to your mind when you look at it?

We have a lot of random spray bottles. I bet rinsing dishes with one takes a while.
ReplyDeleteRandom bottle for misc use--LOL! I'd probably be impatient rinsing dishes with a spray bottle.
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteHehehe! We have a spray bottle that we use to deter the cat from getting up on tables and counters. I should write random use on it and see what people make of it! :)
ReplyDeleteWe do the same thing to find the slow leak in our air dock. Great minds.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ☺
I've used soapy water to find leaks in our inflatable slide before. But it's more like the kids taking sponges and scrubbing down the surfaces (while getting each other wet). :) Nothing so controlled as a spray bottle.
ReplyDeleteSpraying cats? LOL. That's the first thing that came to mind. I know that's terrible, but it's honest. Some people use it as a form of discipline when training their kitties.
ReplyDeleteYou could spray each other with it!
ReplyDeleteGood idea in regards to rinsing the dishes with these bottles. We used a dish with soapy water and a sponge when trying to find (dinghy) leaks. I hope you were successful! Having a few of these bottles around is nice. We used to have one for waterproofing the bimini as well. Better not mix that one up either... :-)
ReplyDeleteWe just moved onto our boat, and have already dedicated a spray bottle for vinegar. We keep the bottle in the head & give the bowl a couple of squirts after each use.
ReplyDeleteThat's some high quality H20. All my spray bottles get used for apple juice and vinegar concoctions which get sprayed on the meats in the smoker. You got a smoker on that boat?
ReplyDeleteYou could fill them both up and have a 'water gun fight'!!!!!
