Wordless Wednesday | Chang Beer In Thailand
Wordless Wednesday is supposed to be about posting a photo(s) without any words. But, I'm a rule breaker, so here are a few words:
1 - We like trying local beers when we travel.
2 - One of my favorite beers in Thailand was Chang.
3 - Sometimes, they served it over ice with a straw. I thought that was kind of weird.
What words does this picture(s) bring to your mind when you look at it?

Beer through a straw. Now that's dangerous.
ReplyDeleteIndeed it is :-)
DeleteI have a friend who likes to drink red wine with ice, but that's to help water it down. I've never heard of drinking beer with ice though. It looks oddly refreshing!
ReplyDeleteStephanie @ SV CAMBRIA
I do like red wine over ice especially when it's hot. Kind of like sangria in a way. I was just so-so about beer over ice thougth.
DeleteI've never had a beer with ice. Way different. Was that so it would be cold? Just wondering.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ☺
Sometimes the cans of beer were warm so putting it over ice helped.
DeleteI would totally drink it over ice. I'll drink just about anything over ice.
ReplyDeleteAh, you're one of those people who can't get enough ice in their life. Are you going to have an ice maker on the boat?
Deleteice, hein? never heard of it, but wouldn't mind trying it.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was just okay, but it was a hot day out so it was refreshing for sure with the ice.
DeleteWow, ice! It's obviously not England! I'm a very casual beer drinker. People talk about hops and wheat and colors, and I have no idea. I usually just go for what's on tap, and sometimes get tricked into drinking IPAs. That's always the worst!
ReplyDeleteAnytime anyone offers you an IPA, tell them to bring it over to me instead. I'll happily drink it.
Deletewhoa-beer through a straw? Could be a bit risky!
ReplyDeleteI know - it's a bit crazy, isn't it?
DeleteIntriguing. I'm not a beer person, but at least you found one you liked! Drinking it through a straw might make things interesting though. :)
ReplyDeleteI really did like Chang. So much in fact that I even got a Chang t-shirt.
DeleteThis photo makes me miss warmer weather and the flavor of a cold beer on a sunny day. I'm very thirsty now. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteOops - sorry I made you thirsty :-)
DeleteMmmmmm .... that looks pretty AND delicious!
ReplyDeleteI like the cans - I think the design is quite cute.
DeleteMmm, I can almost taste the cold beer....
ReplyDeleteAfter I posted this picture, I had a craving for an ice cold beer.
DeleteIt sure doesn't look like beer when it is poured over ice. But then again, I am not a beer drinker. :-)
ReplyDeleteIt kind of reminds me of hard cider over ice in the picture, rather than beer.
DeleteIt looks yummy...but then, I'm not a beer drinker ;)
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine not liking beer, but it definitely is an acquired taste.
DeleteIce with a straw? That's kind of like adding insult to injury. I dare you to do that in Great Britain.
ReplyDeleteYeah, that would never happen in Great Britain :-)
