P Is For Polar Bear Spotting In Florida

During April, we're participating in the Blogging from A to Z Challenge. Every day (except Sundays), we’ll be doing an alphabet themed post starting with “A is for Adventurous” and ending with “Z is for Zinc”. We've got a theme for every letter sorted except for Y. I don’t know if it has to do with climate change or what, but you can find polar bears in the strangest places these days – like Florida. Just in case you don’t believe us, here’s some photographic evidence to prove it. 

These polar bears decided to climb up a tree near a sinkhole at Manatee Springs State Park. Kind of like cats, once they got up there, they couldn’t get down. Lucky for them, we were nearby and heard their cries for help.



Sometimes polar bears like to blend into their surroundings. These guys tried to hide themselves next to some white-colored shells at Shell Mound in the Lower Suwanee Wildlife Refuge. But if you look carefully, you can see them.



These sneaky little devils tried to steal our coffee at Manatee Springs State Park.



I think they may have a real caffeine addiction, because not only are they after our coffee, they also tried to steal our sun tea at Ochlockonee State Park.

 
When we were in Key West, I was worried the polar bears were going to try to hijack a sailboat.
