Alphabet Soup | A To Z Blogging Challenge
It's going to start looking a lot like alphabet soup here next month. For some strange reason, I've decided to sign up for Blogging from A to Z Challenge, along with 1,000+ other crazy people. That means that every day during April (except on Sundays), you're going to see an alphabet themed post here on the blog. For example, on April 1st, you'll see a post entitled, "A is for Adventurous", on April 2nd, "B is for Big Bend National Park", on April 3rd, "C is for Christmas in Boquillas" and so on until I've worked my way through all 26 letters of the alphabet by the end of the month.
Yep, that's right - 26 posts in April. I have no idea why I thought this was a good idea, but I'm all signed up so there's no turning back! It's a lot of posts to write, so I'll apologize now for the lack of quality content and the complete absence of any proofreading. Although that's probably nothing new.
Most of our themes are already picked out for each letter, but we're stuck on what to write on for the letter Y, so if you have any ideas, let us know.
I hope you like alphabet soup - there will be plenty of it during April!
Sounds like a fun challenge, maybe that is something that we can look at doing during our summer when we have a lack of things to write about. I realize that it is a blogger challenge for April but we will have enough to blog about that month so we will just do it on our own. Looking forward to your posts and what you pick as you go through the alphabet. I am sure you will have fun with it.

It would be fun to see you do a series of A to Z themes posts! You guys post pretty frequently already - I'm always amazed at how you come up with something new and interesting each time.
DeleteGood luck, Ellen! But I think you should change your 'c' blog entry title to: "C is for Chocolate" because, really, it's the fuel behind everything -- sailing, blogging and camping!
ReplyDeleteAnd I thought I had hid my love of chocolate so well from our blog readers :-) I'm actually sitting here surprised that I didn't think of making our "C" post about chocolate. Pretty silly of me in hindsight as it is one of my favorite things in the world!
DeleteHi Scott and Ellen! I am stuck with letter "Y" too and letter "Q"!
ReplyDeleteI've added your page for my blogs to follow for the A-Z Challenge.
Good luck with the letters!
Thanks for stopping! Looking forward to reading your A to Z posts too. I was surprised that I was able to come up with something for Q. I thought that might have been one of the harder ones.
DeleteSounds like a fun challenge !!..at least it's only for a month !..I did a 365 picture a day ..one year !!..sure was glad when that was done !!
ReplyDeleteWow - a year long challenge! That's is really impressive!
DeleteWow, I'll be watching and reading! Have you been to Yosemite? Seen the movie or read the story Yentl? Sounds like you do a lot of traveling, and I can't believe you just "happen" to be traveling in FL right now when that is my A to Z theme! Thanks for coming by my blog and leaving a comment. ReplyDeleteHi Lisa - Yosemite is a good idea - thanks for the suggestion! Will be interested to see what "Y" theme you have for Florida :-)
DeleteHi,
