My advice is to ...Sounds like a great route to me. My advice is to take the back roads instead of the highways when possible in CA and CO. When you get to Colorado, one of the more ironic welcome signs can be found in the four corners. The sign says "Welcome to colorful Colorado" and it is in the most monochrome beige landscape I've seen. But it does get much better as you head into the state. If the weather cooperates, drive up through Ouray, it is beautiful mountain country (a Google search will show you pictures of the area). If you are into trains, the Durango/Silverton narrow gauge railroad may be of interest. A wander along the Pearl St. mall in Boulder is always entertaining and there are...or were...some pretty good restaurants around there. Have fun!

-Mike
ThisRatSailed.blogspot.comMike Boydhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14279932231094933575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1717926498377706091.post-65620152554565705762014-10-29T15:19:19.479-07:002014-10-29T15:19:19.479-07:00It is a little crazy but that is what make life fu...It is a little crazy but that is what make life fun.

Hope you have a great trip.
