I’m impressed by some numbers, by how low they are, like the days spent in Oregon (a long trip for a short stay) and the tamales and brownies eaten. When living in flip-flops, I actually enjoyed feeling shoes on my feet once in a while. It felt snug and comfy. Now, however, I try to avoid shoes as much as possible. In San Diego we get away with it, but here in New England.... Obviously, I didn’t even pack and bring them. :-)Liesbethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13402741679152508367noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1717926498377706091.post-55952305861411285762018-01-10T04:04:09.090-08:002018-01-10T04:04:09.090-08:00I'm sorry to hear what a tough month December ...I'm sorry to hear what a tough month December was for you guys. The doggone things hunt us down and tackle us! We're pretty sure the ones we're trying to ditch now tackled us during a stem-to-stern tour we took of the U.S.S. Alabama when we were heading to our son's house for Christmas. Allllll of those ladder-like steps we hauled our weary bones up and down with the banisters.... allllll of which had been handled by allllll those people... Dumb, dumb, dumb. I never fail to diligently wipe down the grocery cart handles every time I visit, but the germy banisters never even crossed my mind until we got sick. Oh well. (It was totally worth it!)

Susan Flett Swiderskihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09425315552148200073noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1717926498377706091.post-48073117224920579202018-01-06T05:56:20.870-08:002018-01-06T05:56:20.870-08:00Great post! It's surprising that one hasn't found and adopted you. ~grin~ That's how it worked for me and, although sweet Luna is gone, we're grateful she 'opened the door' for Tilly and Jezebel by getting me on proper asthma meds. My partner and I can't imagine not having at least one feline now. Heh...
