You Know It's Going To Be A Great Day When...

You know it's going to be a great day when...

...you have just enough milk left for your morning coffee.

...all the news headlines are about adorable kittens and puppies, instead of politics.

...dolphins frolic around your boat.

...nothing new hurts when you stretch in the morning.

...you've magically lost five pounds overnight and can button your jeans with ease.

...you find $40 in the pocket of your jeans.

...you do your taxes and realize you're going to get a refund.

...you finally submit your first novel to your editor.

...you forget to put sugar in your morning oatmeal and it still tastes great.

How do you know when it's going to be a great day?

Thanks for stopping by our blog - we love it when people come visit! We're also on Facebook - pop by and say hi!

  1. Have you posted your novel now?! Wow, if you have!

If all of the above happened to you on a single morning I know who I'd like to swap places with Anyway, happiness is contagious and luck might be too, so it's worth hanging around lucky people...

I wish I could one day wake up to dolphins frolicking around our boat! I've never even seen a dolphin yet!

    1. Oh, I'm a long way off from publishing :-) My manuscript is with the editor currently. Then there will be more changes and maybe one day it will be out there for everyone to see.

If only this all happened to me. Most of it is wishful thinking.

  2. I can relate to the nothing new hurting. Now, go enjoy the rest of your awesome day.

  5. Ahhhhh! I love those mornings. Could we just have those and not the ones where I stick the mascara wand in my eye?

  6. You are having a great day. Good for you.

I know it's a great day when I wake up. It's that simple.

Have an even better day. ♥

  7. Try putting a little salt in your oatmeal, it tastes better. (Scots Great Grandmother taught me that one).

    1. Cats always seem to position themselves to make their humans trip. Especially in the morning when you're not quite awake.

  14. I wanna submit my novel to my editor. Wait, I don't have one of those editor things. This is a great list, by the way.

    1. I wish all of these things really did happen to me :-)

Are you going to use an editor and you just haven't gotten to that stage yet or are you planning on self-editing?

  15. If even half of those things happened to me in a single day, I'd be compelled to buy a lottery ticket. :)

For me, it's a great day when my hubby and I both wake up breathing. So far, so good!

  16. The pain in Greg's back (not me) is abating and he is having his last dentist appointment in Mexico (fingers crossed all goes well). And, if all goes well we get to move on to a prettier location to contemplate our next move.

    1. Nothing worse than back pain. Glad Greg's is abating and that his teeth are getting all sorts of love and attention in Mexico :-) We miss you guys!

  17. For me, I know it's a great day when I wake up and realize I'm still alive and kicking! Anything beyond that I consider a bonus... Wasn't always that way, but the older I get the more I realize how precious each day truly is!

    P.S. Miss you!
