Wordless Wednesday | Strange Mail

Wordless Wednesday is supposed to be about posting a photo(s) without any words. But, I'm a rule breaker, so here are a few words:

1 - When we were back at Indiantown Marina, we got the strangest letter in the mail.

2 - It was sent anonymously. I think I know who it's from. At least I hope so. It's one thing to get strange mail from people you know and quite another to get it from people you don't.

3 - I can't remember the last time I got something in the mail that wasn't junk or a bill.

What words does this picture(s) bring to your mind when you look at it?

    1. No, never been there. Doesn't mean anything to me. It is mysterious :-)

  4. I don't know what's worse -- the creepiness of the letter and matches (does someone want to burn Tickety Boo to the ground? is that the help they're offering?)or that I'm going to have that song stuck in my head all day!

    1. I hadn't thought about the matches in terms of burning the boat down when I got the letter. Hmm...interesting thought.

  6. Intriguing! But could there be a tiny clue to the sender in the top left of the envelope?

    1. I don't know anyone from that town or even where that town is, so it was all part of the mystery.

  7. Exciting and creepy at the same time! Glad you know who it is from! I'm sure there is a story for your blog or another book in this! What are the matches for?? What is the practical joke? I'm curious!
